    At or above 4.0 pCi/L, the EPA recommends fixing your home with a radon mitigation system. If your first result came from a short-term test, a second test can confirm it, but do not wait long to act on a high number.

  • Between 2 and 4 pCi/L: Consider Mitigation

    There is no known safe level of radon. The EPA suggests considering radon mitigation between 2.0 and 4.0 pCi/L, especially when family members spend a lot of time in the basement or lower level.
